Hi there! My name is Amy, and I'm obsessed with books. I have been since I was really, really young. I'm planning on becoming the coolest librarian who ever lived.
For the year 2015, I set myself a goal to read 200 books. I'm doing really well so far, to date I have read 88 books and I'm working on my 89th (Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison). While I have been sharing my reading activity on facebook and tumblr to an extent, I've decided that I want to start a blog that is entirely devoted to cataloging and reviewing the books I'm reading. Book blogs have become very popular in the past few years, and it's way past time for me to get in on it.
To start, I'm going to be backposting all of the books I've already read. On tumblr I've gotten into the habit of writing up a weekly 'Books I Read' post, and I'll essentially be transplanting those posts here to get some momentum going. I'll probably expand on those short reviews. I'll also be writing full review posts for the books that I especially loved or hated. I think I'll also revisit some of my all-time favorite books, and make 'book haul' posts of the books that I buy each week - you wouldn't believe how many books I manage to constantly acquire.
My tumblr and facebook personalities and content are incredibly different, and while I will be linking each of them to THIS blog, I won't be providing links from here to either of them. If you really want to know either my tumblr or to become friends on facebook, let me know and I'll consider adding you.
